Au cours des dernières années, le Dr Masseau a participé à des projets de recherche scientifique fondamentale sur l'asthme allergique en mettant l'accent sur les changements tomographiques calculés associés à cette maladie et sur la façon dont ces changements peuvent être affectés par de nouvelles thérapies. Elle a également développé des projets collaboratifs utilisant l'imagerie diagnostique pour diagnostiquer les maladies respiratoires chez les veaux.
