The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine hosted the first edition of the FMV Rimouski Conference on November 15, 2025. The event took place on the campus of the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR), the host site of the Université de Montréal’s new satellite Veterinary Medicine Program.
This inaugural edition was designed for clinical veterinarians, veterinarians working in the agricultural sector, animal health technicians, and students. The rich and diverse program covered topics related to both small and large animals. Several presentations highlighted the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and recent research projects, delivered by faculty members and a guest expert.
Participants were also able to learn about new products and services offered by various organizations in the pharmaceutical and veterinary industries at the Exhibitor Fair held during the conference.
