Biographie
Jean Ramos est médecin vétérinaire, diplômé de l’Université fédérale de Bahia (UFBA) et titulaire d’une maîtrise en santé et immunologie des ruminants de l’Université de São Paulo (USP), au Brésil. Il a récemment obtenu son doctorat à l’Université de Montréal (UdeM), où ses travaux ont porté sur les modèles économiques de santé appliqués aux veaux laitiers. Actuellement, il est professeur adjoint à l’Université de Montréal (campus de Rimouski). Ses recherches visent à mieux comprendre l’impact des maladies sur la santé et le bien-être des animaux en intégrant des approches épidémiologiques et économiques.
