Ma recherche porte sur les pathogènes alimentaires, leur colonisation des animaux d’élevage et leur dissémination vers la population humaine.  Ma recherche porte autant sur la caractérisation des mécanismes propres aux pathogènes alimentaires qui leur permettent d’atteindre les humains que sur l’évolution de ces bactéries au sein des autres populations bactériennes qu’elles rencontrent;  j'observe et cherche à comprendre comment les autres bactéries peuvent influencer leur présence et surtout de quelle manière la composition de ce microbiote réagit lorsque l’on change les conditions d’élevage des animaux comme par exemple en modifiant la composition de leur nourriture en y ajoutant des huiles essentielles,  des acides organiques ou des probiotiques.
